Vincent. Hiei. The man with few words but with tremendous skill. Vincent is the most ruthless fighter of them all. He can slash an opponent into bits even before anyone realizes what he has done. He's short with a matching temper by his side. Vincent is the master of the Black Dragon Spirit (En Satsu Kokuryuha) and the third eye known as Jagan.

     Vincent was born to the Koorime, a tribe of female ice demons (they look very much human). Vincent was born by accident because his mother had an affair with a fire demon. Thus, Hina (Vincent's mother) gave birth to both a boy (Vincent) and a girl (Mikaela). The elder tribeswomen punished Hina for her crimes and threw Vincent out of their homeland.

     Vincent was raised to a group of thieves. As he grew older, he learned fighting techniques and skills from them. Until one day, his fellow thieves figured that Vincent was simply too ruthless and merciless for their group, and thus, abandoned him. Vincent grew up in a life of being alone. His sole mission was to find whoever gave him the pearl from his mother. He went around the Netherworlds fighing against other demons.

     There came a time when Vincent lost the pearl during a fight with another demon. He then realized he needed a third eye to increase his searching ability. He went to Shigure to give him the Jagan (third eye). After which he used to search for the pearl.

     Vincent found himself now roaming the streets of the Human World, where he met Dennis. He sensed Dennis precense because of Dennis's being a demon like himself. He lost to Dennis by accident and was nursed and cared for by Dennis. They become friends and later on together steal the Spirit World's treasures.

     Vincent is a Class-A Netherworld fighter, but despite this, he is up to match with upper-class fighters. Vincent challenges anyone, even those with higher caliber than his. His main advantage is speed, skill, and sight. He can pull a move even faster than your eyes can blink.

     Being born as a creature of fire, he was banished from the world of ice spirits as a baby. He has a sister, Michaela, who came to the earth world in search of her brother. Vincent prefers to keep the truth from his sister, though, but he always makes sure of Michaela�s safety. He holds himself aloof of everybody, yet proves himself to be a very powerful ally. His main source of his power is his third eye, he wields a sword, is very very fast and the only one who can use the Black Dragon Spirit technique, a devastating force that destroys almost anything in its path. He joins Eugene to sort of make up for his crimes but nevertheless thrives on the challenges that goes along with it.

     Vincent is one of the most feared fighters in the Netherworld. He is the only person who can control the power of the Black Dragon Spirit(Ja-Ou-En-Satsu-Ken), which is a group of techniques that uses fire as the fighting power. His ability to wield the Black Dragon Spirit Power (Ja-Ou-En-Satsu-Kokuryuha), the strongest attack of the technique, frightens most of his opponents. He can use the Black Dragon Spirit Technique in a multitude of ways. He can use it to channel a Black Dragon from the Netherworld, or use it as a Flaming Sword, or use it as a offensive punching attack. Also, he can use the energy to direct itself to him to further increase his abilities.

     The first time Vincent uses this technique was when he was fighting Zell (Zeru). His power was so strong that the only remains of Zell was his scorched shadow on the wall. Vincent keeps on trying to improve his attacks, which he does when he fights the Shishi team and Bui. Bui had no chance whatsoever in comparing his power to Vincent's. The only time Vincent's power was ever countered was with Sensui. Sensui used his Light Spirit Shield technique to block Vincent's Black Dragon attack. This is because Vincent harnesses the dark powers while Sensui used the powers of the light, thus cancelling its effect.

     There is one drawback to Vincent's Black Dragon Spirit technique, though. He can only use the technique up to three times in one day or he will collapse. Everytime he uses it, he will later on be seen resting on the side.
