Dennis is the legendary Demon-fox, a youkai In the Filipino version, he is called Taong-Lobo(Werewolf). He was born to the youkos, specifically a tribe of legendary Demon-foxes in the Netherwolrds. He is a many-hundred year old ruthless and cruel thief who had the power to determine secrets and codes and manipulate demonic plants. Dennis has two main egos: his human form and his alter-ego: the youko kitsune form (fox-demon with many tails). Long ago, Dennis roamed the Netherworlds as a thief stealing from castles for his own personal glory. He was feared for he was perhaps the most cunning thief of his time. With his partner,Black Raven(Kuronue), another youkai with black hair and wings, he was thought to be unbeatable. Unfortunately, his partner died in one of their missions to steal treasures. There came a time when he was hunted down by the entity known as the Hunter. In a daring escape, Dennis was shot and was required to flee to heal his wounds. In his travel, he took possession of a child's body in the womb of Minamono Shiori to recover. He grew up in the Human world under her loving care where he learned the values of the Human spirit. |
Dennis is able to manipulate plants to his will. His most
preferred weapon is the rose whip, which can come out from
his body. He is also able to use specialized plant seeds
which do different things. No one knows the true limits of
Dennis's capabilities. His everchanging attitude causes him
to use different tactics. His powers range from offensive
(destructive and harmful techniques) to defensive
(protection/guarding techniques) and sometimes to practical
(healing balms/plants).
Dennis is the smartest of the group. His knowledge and
wisdom make up for his lack of love for fighting. In most
tight situations, he is able to surprise everyone through
unsuspected attacks or manuevers. Despite his admitting the
fact that he does not care for fighting (which most of the
times irritates Vincent), almost all of them are surprised
to see him pull a sneaky trick on his opponents. His most
usual tactic is fooling his opponents that he will lose to
them, and with his opponent's built-up over-confidence, he
finishes them off easily.
A 15 year old boy who rob the objects of darkness together with
Vincent. His human mother thought him how to love and treat him as her
true child. He felt that he is a true human and not a spirit. He got into
Eugene's team when they fight the four monster of darkness and save
the world. He also join the tournament of the spirit world with
Eugene, Vincent, Alfred and Master Jeremiah. He is a girl when he is on our world
but when he is on the spirit world, he is a boy.A 15 year old boy who rob the

by a hunter, he was a wolf who rob treasuresHe really loves his
mother and ready to give his life just for her. The reason why
he rob the mirror of darkness, is to save his mother's life, coz'
you can wish anything to that mirror but the
wisher's life in return, Thanks to Eugene,
Dennis become safe.
The difference in his human form and alter-ego is great.
He is much too slow and weak in his human form, but in his
alter-ego form, he is a cunning, ruthless, and agil fighter.
It is also in his alter-ego form that he is able to make use
of his full abilities. In his human form, Dennis almost
always succumbs to the enemy, causing him to look desperate
to defeat the enemy. But in his alter-ego form, one has
second thoughts if Vincent is indeed the faster and
merciless warrior. However, Dennis is only a Class-A fighter
when in human form. But even when he becomes a youko, he
only has an upper edge.
Dennis has a multitude of fighting abilities. He uses the
Rose Whip (Kagon-Retsuzan-Shi)which can cut almost anything, the
Blast Petal Waltz formation (Fu-Ka-Enbu-Jin)
which makes flower petals encirlce Dennis to protect
him,the Death Grass (Shimaneki-sou),
Demon-eating plant (Shoukuyuu-Shokubutsu),
Demonic Plant (Makai-no OjigisouBlood-sucking
plant (Kyu-Ketsu-Shokubutsu)
which he uses to defeat Karaso, and the everfamous
Tree of Thought Manipulation (Janen-Ju)
which he uses to defeat Toguro Ani.
He used to be a Fox Spirit(Ryouko) in the
realm of the monsters but was wounded by his hunters and escapes to the
human world to heal. He hid within the body of a young woman and was
reborn as human, learning love and compassion. When his mother got sick,
he stole a powerful mirror from the spirit world which allowed him to heal her
seriously-ill mother in exchange for his own life. Eugene offers his life instead,
and as a result, neither one of them perished. Dennis� powers include
demonic manipulation of any plant into anything he desires and a 'rose whip'
that becomes a whip with razor-sharp talons on it.
In reality, he is a many hundred year old demonic fox, called a youko. His name is Kurama in his
fox spirit form and appears as a tall man with long silver hair, fox ears and a silver fox tail. He also
has a true fox form with 7 ? tails. While trying to steal a demonic artifact, he was grievously injured
by a hunter and escaped to the Human World to take refuge. He was born as Minamino Shuichi
and is now a handsome, quiet, polite, studious, gentle 15 year old boy with long red hair and a bent
for biology. Kurama who is cruel and heartless is basically trapped in this human body but
surprisingly he has learnt about human love and sacrifice from his human mother. Kurama has the
ability to create and manipulate any demonic plant with his You-Ki.
Kurama is calm, smart, polite, kind and patient but whenever anyone he loves is being hurt, his
personality changes entirely, and he becomes cold and emotionless. He seemed to be two people in
one until the end when he decided it was better to be human and then after the human part died, he
could be a youko for as long as he liked (close to the end, his power was as much as an A-class
youkai, the 2nd most powerful class). In his human form, he is good friends with everyone and
doesn't have any enemies. In his youkai form, he has tons of enemies (including Yomi because he
once ordered Yomi to be assassinated cuz Yomi was too much of a blockhead). A lot of people
also think that he and Hiei are "more than friends" but I had no idea that they were when I read the
manga...oh well. Kurama is one of my favorite characters, too.
Kurama is another main character and probably one of the most popular characters from this
cartoon. When he's in his human form, he has long red hair and large green eyes. He used to be an
infamous thief named Youko Kurama with long silver hair and golden eyes but a bunch of Reikai
cops/police officers/hunters/whatever almost killed him. So to save himself, he went inside the body
of a pregnant woman named Minamino Shiori, and he became her son Minamino Shuichi. The
Youko Kurama part has been alive for over 1000 years (at least that's what it sez in my books: he
knew Yomi 1000 years ago), but in the beginning of the story, the Shuichi part has only been alive
for 15.
