He is also a 15 year old boy and was rival in school.
He always fight with Eugene but Alfred always looses in their matches.
Alfred only wons a match whenever he saw the girl he like or his
friends are in danger.He is considered a delinquent like his former
rival, Eugene. Before, they often fought each other, of which Alfred lost
around 156 times of 156 matches.He later became best of friends with the former,
constantly aiding Eugene in his assignments as a spirit detective. He produces a spirit
sword as his weapon, has supernatural mental abilities and tremendous
determination and tenacity. He is basically attracted to every beautiful female
he meets. He holds great affections for Michaela, Vincent's sister. Although
dumb-witted at some times, he cares for his friends deeply and will go at
great lenghts to win a fight.Alfred is too proud of himself, that's why
Vincent don't like him much, but after he helped Eugene
saved Mikaela, Vincent's younger sister, Vincent started to
like Alfred.Alfred is brave man and a kind of man who never
give up. He will continue his fight until his last breath. He possessed no special abilities at first,
he developed the Spirit Sword
(Rei-ken)
technique during Master Jeremiah's tournament when he was
fighting Musashi. Alfred is a Class A Human fighter, much
stronger than most humans but weaker compared to an A-level
Netherworld creature like Vincent or Dennis. At first
sight, he seems to be the weakest of the four.
And sometimes, however, he surprises the group. He seems to be
stronger and more determined than Eugene, Dennis, or
Vincent, especially when enraged. He is considered the
weakest as he is sometimes ignorant of the things around
him.
In the later series, Alfred develops the
Dimension sword(Jigen-Tou))
which is able to cut through almost anything. This happens
when Alfred was attacked by Mitara (Mitarai Kiyoshi). At
that time, Alfred had lost his powers after the Black
Martial Arts tournament (Ankoku Bujutsukai), when he
died to Toguro. When he was trapped in an unbreakable liquid
force by Mitara, he becomes very much enraged and tries to
summon his Spirit Sword. To his surprise, he held a much
different weapon, but slashed through Mitara's liquid force.
To Mitara's surprise, the sword slashed through the barrier
and cut him. Mitara was wounded but Alfred took him back to
nurse him.
This Dimension sword was
what Sensui was after (read Story Part II). The sword
was able to cut the spiritual barrier that divides and
protects the Human world from the Nether world.
Alfred loves many girls. In the early episodes, he seems to
have an eye for Charlene, although in the later series, he
is seen to be truly in love with Mikaela, and is willing to
sacrifice everything to save her.
In the third part of the show (Story Part III
Alfred makes no appearance. The last time he is seen is in
the last episode. He is supposedly married to Mikaela
(Yukina) but that's another story...
